For heaven's sake !! those seat covers reminded me of my late uncle's Morris Minor !! What the hell are you pretending? A bunch of deckchairs so pilots can sunbath in the cocpit??

alancordina- 01-30-2008

:?: :?: :?: .... what are you on about !! :?: :?: :?: ... I didn't say seats. I said seat covers !! even if I tried fitting them, I would have done a better job ! My father's Lm25 seat covers for his Tata Indica are even poshier and fit tighther and look better !

ryanpaulgalea- 01-30-2008

Well tell that to Airbus... hehe (Seat covering or no seat covering in my opinion I don't think it will affect the pilot so much during the flight.. After all, the seat itself has to be comfortable.)

alancordina- 01-30-2008

still not the point ! ..... anyway ...... whatever ...

ryanpaulgalea- 01-30-2008

hehe... Qisna kelb u qattus jien u int... lol

Looks like the virtual cockpits you find on flight simulator! i dont see what so woow about the a380 cockpit, its like all other airbuses. (opinion)

cool .... nice cockpit :)

Looks like the virtual cockpits you find on flight simulator! i dont see what so woow about the a380 cockpit, its like all other airbuses. (opinion) Exactly.... I prefer some old B707 cockpit anytiem to the Digital Automated Cockpit... Aaaa Today you cannot say you;'re flying.... Pilots today are overpaid bus drivers.... Ruben

Ruben as time rolls, technology advances and so do airplanes... Nowadays a pilot's job is easier and less time consuming then the old days. But we have to understand that airplanes nowadays are for advanced and the risk of having an accident is less than before with the aid of advanced an digital cocpits..

Ruben as time rolls, technology advances and so do airplanes... Nowadays a pilot's job is easier and less time consuming then the old days. But we have to understand that airplanes nowadays are for advanced and the risk of having an accident is less than before with the aid of advanced an digital cocpits.. I agree but... A pilot still stays the pilot.... The real pilots were those who entered into a fully analog cockpit and had to themselves, find a way how to fly the plane in any weather conditions... Today there's the marvel of the autopilot... It is true that you get a safer flight, however you are removing the principle of the idea of Flight, that is a human being managing to go into a place where it is not usual for him to go.... Consider yourself placing an Airbus / Boeing pilot from today's generation aircraft to fly a DC-3.... They learn the same stuff, ut I'm sure that the Airbus/Boeing pilot will not manage to fly the DC3... Speaking from a perspective of flying on simulator also, which aircraft you get a kick of flying most? A Hawker Hunter/ F-105 'Thud' with their beautiful old cockpits or the Typhoon/Gripen/F-22 where everything is presented on you on display and with a click of a button the aircraft flies by itself? Its up to you to decide, altough if I was a pilot I would likely enjoy flying more a L-1101 / DC10/ B707 etc than flying a modern Airbus or Boeing, where the plane flies itself and not a human being flies it... Ruben P.S : Its not the NEW digital cockpit that makes the aircraft safer... It is the advancement of aircraft systems etc that makes it safer.... The cockpit is just a place where you input something, it gets processed and you get info on what you inputted....
