:shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: From their origin, both the F-16s and F-15s always had the same engine - The Pratt & Whitney F-100 engine, later to be developed into the F-110 with more power, improved performance etc etc ..... into many different variants but with the basic core design. The idea was commonality, which I think was a good idea, even financially apart from ground crew able to work / service both. In time, like in many other things, take overs of companies happen all the time and equipment built under licensing ..... like for example the General Dynamics F-16 becoming (taking over of companies) Lockheed Martin, same like the McDonnel Douglas F-15 becoming Boeing F-15 etc etc ..... same with the engines ...... the F-15K for South Korea engines were built by General Electric thus the name F-110 GE ( + variant number) which are incidentally built by joint venture by Samsung and GE ....... the same with the UAE F-16s ...... they too have the the GE variant ....... but they are basically all the same design engines.

i guess the thrust plates are just different. its still wired on an f15. you'd expect to see an f15 with the usual cagy hydrolics over the plates aaa?? :s
