HELP! (spray cans) Lately i came up with the idea of spraying my model with a spray can instead of brushing on the varnish matt cote. mainly because my model is of a large scale and varnishing it with 2 cote's, with a brush, is quite tough and time consuming. So i bought an acrylic matt varnish spray can. i tested it out on old models and the paint began to warp and melt!! is the spray too strong? are they reacting? what can i do to compensate for this acrylic spray can?

First of all u have to shake the can very very very well!!! before spraying. Something that I must say is that i do not recommend cans. You don't have any control like air flow and ammount of paint. I suggest to you that for the moment keep on using the brush and in the future invest in a very good airbrush!!

Iv been wanting an airbrush for the past year or more. i sprayed the model matt black (most of it), with a can, and i was amaized with the results! any idea why the acrylic matt varnish is melting the enamel paint?
