the Italians have drastically reduced their airshow budgets. Unless you get the Freccie, you don't get the aeronautica. BTW there is no mention of Freccie on the website.

Difficult to get Harriers, out of all aircraft. Unless there is an aircraft carrier transiting through the Med, it seems all RAF Harriers, Hercs and tankers are busy in Afghanistan!

heqq their gr.9's so they must be carrier based min fejn qed tivvintaw dawn l'affarijiet ?? ..... you can only cram about half the number of existing Harriers on all of the available carriers at any one time. The rest are land based ..... and that is where any Harrier may show up ..... not likely (in my opinion) to have Harriers disengage from carriers. They are usually there for operations not sight seeings and visiting airshows.

if i made a sweeping statement i woud have said THEY ARE carrier based. but i said must be, meaning it could be and the FA.2's we got in 2002 were carrier based
