Any info where the display will be held this year ? Same as last... construction will still not be ready...

MarkZerafaGilson- 04-07-2008

The Swiss PC-7s will also be back. :)

AndreaParascandalo- 04-07-2008

If Lufthansa constructions are finished, will planes still be able to perform there ? Because with the new hangar I think they will still make it on st pauls bay

Reds confirmed. After tall cranes are gone, displays go back to airport. Building not a problem. Cranes are. Airshow may start to be held every 2 years. as for the swiss team ...... these guys are so in demand (not with PC-7s only but with something extremely more attractive of theirs, that I am not sure I can mention here - yes to guess, go for the extreme, but don't write the name) that they keep tab of to whom they send out these guys for. sort of a queue / roster, and if it was not for the previous PC-7s that we had recently, we were going to have their other fighter jet display team. it was really on !

JonathanMifsud- 04-08-2008

we hope for the best... keep up the good job that those involved are doing.

i dont get it. last yrs display over luqa was not allowed because of the crane (which was far away) and then during the departures, the aircraft flew over park 4, right over the cranes :s might aswell do it atr luqa

Red Arrows probably = RAF C-130

Ohhh..it would be great to see the Swiss red and white 'American Growlies' jets (Get it Alannn???) ... As I pilot that a/c on my simulator and have got the most hours on it ;);)

charlespolidano- 04-08-2008

Even so, they're not going to let you fly one Ruben

Even so, they're not going to let you fly one Ruben  Who knows Charles...... Maybe they will let me in secretly and I will make a sneak pass from behind you and scare you all ;);) if that display team will come it will be the icing on the cake for sure....!!!! Ruben
