Off the Phillippines
Hello All, I am leaving today for 3 months On Job training on widebodies at Manila airport, with Lufthansa Technik. So that means no more activity for me for 3 more months and no photos ;) I would like to thank everyone for helping me so much. :P:P I will surf when I have time here and I am sure that I will come bk with some really interesting photos for all of you. I am sure I am going to miss all those spotting activities in all that sun and all the jokes... but well there isn't anything that I can do. See you in 3 months, Best regards, Buzu

Hey Guys, After around being nearly 24 hours inflight, dosing without hearing phone calls, I am in manila. Already saw some really nice aircraft in Dubai. The area is nice. We will soon fix a visit to the Phillippine Air Force Museum, which houses some really (altough not many) interesting aircraft such as the PAF Mustang, PAF Sabre, PAF F-5, PAF OV-10 and others. For those interesting in civvies, I already saw a Saudia Arabian A300-600R, some 5/6 Tu154s, around 10 747s, A derelict Biman A310 being stripped for scrapping and an A340-500.... Its going be 3 months away from home, but well I think at least they are going to be good. Off to shopping! Catch with you later guys! Regards from Makati, Buzu

Hey Guys, It's been nearly 2 months since my previous post. I've got some interesting photos, albeit only static, of the PAF Museum. I'm looking to fix also a visit to somewhere near Manila Airport in order to catch some exotic civvie aircraft here such as the Dash 6, civil CN235 and B732s! Life here for anyone interested in going for this course and this On-job training is quite cheap and you find everything here. We are currently working on A340-600 from Virgin Atlantic and I am stationed in flight controls area, mnore specifically in the tail section and occasionally in the right hand and left hand wing. I am currently working with the flaps , slats, rudder trimming, rudder, aileron and elevator serocontrols and many many more :D:D In these 2 months I have serviced 2 Virgin Atlantic A340-600 (V-MEG and V-SHY) and we are expecting our last aircraft that we will service here another A340-600 From Virgin Atlantic. There are a lot of places to visit here so your holiday won't be boring, altough well after 2 months you will be looking forward to coming back to Malta especially if you have a girl waiting for you in Malta ;);) Well Well I have to leave you now. But before I do that I'll give you a sneak preview of what you will expect from my visit of the Philippines :D:D See you in 33 days in Malta after deboarding Emirates flight from Dubai / Larnaca on the 27th September. Catch with you soon my friends! Ruben Here's the preview I told you about ;)
