Does not sound bad ! But, its not cheaper than the 400D !! So, if I had the choice, I know which one I would buy !!

Yeah Alan, but our friend has Pentax lenses, so this inevitably shifts the balance that way...

Yeh
Altough Mark, my Tamron should fit on a Canon Body....
But Right now I'm not in the postion to switch the brand... I'll be waiting for the price to get lower since this body is still not formerly 'out' yet..

Are you sure the tamron will fit ? Usually third party lenses (tamron, sigma etc) would fit into specific brands.
The same lens would not fit into multiple brands. Its either for Pentax or Canon but not both.
I think you should check on that though...

I know,
But there are always the extensions that you fit with the camera body so your lens will fit...
Anyways I will stay a Pentax user and maybe change in the future.... Right now I'm doing well with my camera and since 7 years using Pentax bodies, I have had no problems and the pics turned out well....
(Altough I'm in Love with Sigma lenses and particularly the Canon L series lenses):P
