Good morning everyone, Following the very successful trip to London Heathrow, we are thinking of organising a bigger one next year, to coincide with the International Air Tattoo in Fairford. Although it's very early in the day, getting the best tickets and affordable accomodation at the Air Tattoo needs to be done by September-October. The Britishjet flights can also be booked cheaper if booked this early, and accomodation at Fairford usually has to be booked early as well. As in the spotting day at Heathrow, we will be having some English friends joining us. The battleplan is as follows: Flights by Britishjet Spotting at Gatwick Visit to RAF Hendon Visit to Duxford Spotting at Manchester Ringway Spotting at London City A visit to London including HMS Belfast, Tower Bridge, the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace, Oxford Street and Trafalgar Square. We're still working out the definitive programme, however, please advise if you're interested! Dates would be something in the region of mid-July, as the Air Tattoo is on the 14th and 15th July. Costs, including VIP tickets to the Air Tattoo, should be in the region of Lm 300-400 Accomodation will be in guesthouses and a self-catering apartment in London.
