Why this pic was rejected?
Well,i had this rejected photo: http://www.jetphotos.net/viewreject_b.php?id=2721035 rejaction reasons:Bad composition(bad framing/aircraft not centered),too much or too little contrast, cropping, photo edges, size ratio Anyone can give me some tips on how i can make a better pic?

I personally think that it is slightly "zoomed too much" on the aircraft, resulting in a tight fit from the left and right and more space from the top and bottom! I think that all you need you need do is to use a wide angle lens or maybe a "zoom lens" (200mm+) to produce a more proportional shot! I don't exactly know, I don't even have a camera . . . surely there are others who can answer you better than me! All in all, good shot . . . happy snapping and keep it up!

Well, actually I didn't zoomed on the aircraft as you see i crpped it...there was much space between tha nose and the photo edge and a camera I use the Fuji Finepix S1500

my opinion... I'm no expert (it's not like i have a ton of pics on there) but all the issues they mentioned seem to be fixable. 1. when you crop use a standard size ratio, ex 3x2. so ideally you crop at 1024px X 683 px the image is at 1024px X 768px which I dont think is a format JP.net accept 2. you cropped outside the image so you have a white edge at the very top and on the left hand side. 3. the aircraft is not centered. the thing with jetphotos, airliners and so on is that they seem to be obsessed with having the aircraft smack in the middle. I guess it's ideal for the reason they're there for. while it is centered horizontally (altough i personally would leave just a bit more space between the edge of the aircraft and the edge of the frame) there is a lot more space at the top than there is at the bottom. (266px from the highest part of aircraft to top of the frame as opposed to 196px from the lowest part of the aircraft to the bottom of the frame) so as a result the aircraft is sitting low in the frame. get what i mean? 4. There is a slight lack of contrast in the image so i'd just bump that up in photoshop to create a stronger distinction between the shadows and the highlights (once you bump the contrast you'll see how much better it looks) - but beware not to over do it. hope it helps.

the first thing i noticed is white crop marks and the nose to too close to the edge! you need some breathing space on that photo..

1st: I would level the pic First of all. Another screener may reject it for that alone. 2nd: Remove those white marks at the edges. 3rd: Crop to ratio 3:2 so you won't have any trouble with jp.net ratios. 4th: I would add some colour to remove the greenish tint you have on the photo 5th: Add some more contrast. 6th: If possible download Noise Ninja Add on and remove some of the noise you have in the photo.

Thanks for all your help.....i have photshop CS3 and i don't know how to use it very well...

antoinepsaila- 10-23-2009

Just for curiosity. What type of camera do you use? Apart from that as others already told you your photo is highly unlevelled and you cropped the photo outside the photo limits so you have those white lines . Apart from that the aircraft is not centered. for me the www.flyairone.com is oversharpened. So first learn how to use the photoshop and then try to upload again !

I use the Fuji Finpix S1500

antoinepsaila- 10-23-2009

It's a good camera. I know ppl who use it and they get good quality shots although slr cameras do their job better. So you need to practice on photoshop
